Reduce, Reuse, Rekindle | Updated make up routine

I haven't spoken a lot about my make up recently and there is two main reasons for this: firstly I have been using the same products and haven't really tried or bought any products worth shouting about. Secondly, I have had no time to sit down and have a look at what I currently own but neglect.

After getting my hair cut (see here) change has been in the air and I finally felt in the mood to have a rethink about what my make up collection was lacking or no longer needed, what needed another try and what products I had forgotten about. Once having a little play about I now feel happy with a slightly altered make up routine.

Base : Due to early starts for sixth form I try and keep the number of products I use to a little as possible. For my base I either use Seventeen stay time concealer on any blemishes and areas that need to be covered, or a light layer of No7 Essentially Natural Foundation. I generally have good skin so using only one of these steps is okay for me. I starting using these products combined towards the beginning of the year and after a few months switched to other things and so they stayed in my make up drawer collecting dust! As well as these I also use my transparent Rimmel Stay Matte Powder and occasionally my Stila convertible lip and cheek colour in Peony. If there has been anything on my lips it has been Peony or Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in shade 03 as I tend to not want to wear anything too bold whilst at school.

Eyes : A few relatively new products I have been enjoying have all been for the eyes. Maybelline the falsies and the Leather look colour tattoo in creamy beige and the Borjois liner feutre are products I had wanted to try for a while and have finally gotten round to testing them out...and I'm so glad I have! For my brows I have rekindled my love for brow powder in the form of Mac Omega eye shadow, I love how natural it looks.
