The Friend Christmas
'The best way to spread Christmas cheer, is singing loud for all to hear'... and that's exactly what we did. Today was the final day of school before the holidays which was filled with carols, sleigh races, Christmas jumper competitions and more. It's always a lot of fun to spend the day with friends singing our hearts out to our favourite Christmas songs. Usually our fun ends at 12pm, however this year my friends and I decided to do things differently.
We started our Christmas day prep around a month ago while we were at lunch. We decided that in order to have a great Christmas celebration there had to be food and presents. The presents would come in the form of a secret Santa between the 8 of us, we had a budget of £25 to get something special for our person. The main issue we had with having a secret Santa was the 'secret' part. It's hard enough to keep a secret from a couple friends is hard enough but it's worse when you can't tell a single soul!! The fact we survived the month and succeeded is probably the biggest triumph tat has come out of our Christmas!
Our next task was to find somewhere suitable to eat, which was a lot easier than the latter, we chose a carvery that had a Christmas deal on. This way we could splash out on our gifts if we went over budget as we wouldn't have to worry about the expensive meal, as it was a set price.
It has been a great day that I have a feeling will become a slight tradition for my friends and me and here are some pictures we took throughout the day. Enjoy!!
